Here's what you can expect:
- Transferring the body to a California Cremation Center.
Distances over 25 miles from our nearest facility are charged the per mile rate in effect at the time of need. (presently $3/mile, one way after 25 miles)
- Caring for the body prior to cremation
- Preparing the death certificate and permits
- Coordinating with the local medical examiner/coroner
if required
- Administrative assistance for communications
with the responsible parties
- Managerial support to supervise and document
the process
- Obituary Notification and Placement (Newspaper
costs may apply)
- A cremation container made of approved material,
in which the body is placed for cremation
- The cremation itself
- A temporary container for the cremated remains
- Provision for pickup of the temporary container
by an authorized person at our office in Riverside, or our affilliate arrangement offices in Van Nuys and San Bernardino
Cremation will take place
within seven days of receiving a California Disposition
Permit. Standard Cremation is based on deceased being under 250 lbs
