If Death Occurs at Home
and the loved one is under
Hospice Care
Contact the Hospice Nurse.
A Hospice Nurse will respond to your home and make the pronouncement of death.
Ask them to call California Cremation Centers at (800) 466-6110.
Our staff will respond to the location of passing and will receive the loved one into our care.
Our staff will then contact you to finalize the arrangements, whether in our office, online, or over the fax.
If Death has Occurred and the Medical Examiner or County Coroner is involved.
Contact California Cremation Centers at (800) 466-6110. We will contact the Coroner's Office to arrange release of the
deceased. Prior to us taking your loved one into our care, we will need a release signed by the closest next of kin.
Most Coroner's have a transportation fee, which we must collect from you to give to them. Once we are authorized by the Medical Examiner or Coroner, we will receive
the loved one to us.
If your loved one is presently at a Coroner's facility, be sure to print and complete the proper release
below and fax to us with your other completed arrangement forms.
Riverside County Coroner Release
San Bernardino County Coroner Release
Los Angeles County Coroner Release
Orange County Coroner Release
San Diego County Coroner Release
Santa Barbara County Coroner and Kern County Coroner will accept any of
the above Coroner Releases.
