Dolores Vasquez

On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, Dolores Vasquez (Dolly), passed away at the age of 73, in San Bernardino, Ca. Dolly was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and god-mother. Dolly was born on September 17th, 1948 is San Bernardino, Ca. to Jose and Ruth Becerra. Dolly was primarily a housewife. She married her second husband, Richard Joseph Vasquez Sr. in 1973. They had 5 children together. Dolly continued to be a homemaker, taking care of her own children as well as many others. Dolly created a strong family support system within her own home. Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, painting, drawing, and the occasional scribbling on famous peoples’ faces in magazines. She loved her Oldies but Goodies and was always willing to listen to a variety of different music. She loved to dance and would often do so. But nothing compared to how much she loved her family. Dolly would do anything for them. Dolly was met by her husband, daughter, great granddaughter, parents, siblings, other family members and friends, who passed before she did. She is survived by her four sons, Rick, Pete, Phillip and Paul, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers. Dolly will be missed by all those that love and remember her. A memorial service will be held at a later date (to be determined) as the family continues to raise funds for services where she and Dicky can be laid to rest with their daughter Teresa.
